Back by popular demand, the fifth annual Professional Development Day and AGM for the North England Member Network is taking place at Broughton Hall near Skipton on 14 October 2025. There will be a range of guest speakers covering a range of interesting topics from across the full breadth of the forestry and arboriculture sector. This year will be extra special as we will also be celebrating the Institute's centenary year with some themed presentations.

The day provides an excellent opportunity to increase your knowledge on current topics from across the industry, contribute to CPD and it is an incredibly valuable opportunity to network with peers. This year, there will also be an option for anyone looking to continue networking after the event at a fireside retreat with buffet food and hot drinks included (additional cost to the ticket price).

Between the lunch break and the afternoon sessions, we will be holding the North England Member Network AGM, where you get the opportunity to have your say on CPD events in the region and meet committee members.

Outdoor networking dinner

There will be a networking buffet style dinner from 17:00 - 19:30 held at the Fire Temple venue at Broughton Sanctuary which is a covered firepit area – please see the images below. This event is ticketed separately to the main conference so please ensure you purchase a ticket if you wish to attend.
