Building a More Resilient Future
Get involved | Get informed | Get inspired
Calling all emerging arboriculturists and foresters! The world is rapidly changing, and the unprecedented twin threats of climate and biodiversity crises are bringing both challenges and opportunities for the tree sector. As early career professionals, the future of the sector and its resilience to current and future threats is in your hands. It is a really exciting time to be at the start of your career in forestry and arboriculture; how can you make a difference?
Our Early Career Professionals Conference is your chance to get inspired, get informed and get involved, celebrating fantastic tree professionals across the UK and learning from those with a wealth of experience.
This conference has been put together by a group of early career professionals and is aimed at those starting out in forestry, although everyone is welcome and will be sure to find topics of interest.
Following on from the Early Career Professionals Study Tour 2024 that put carbon firmly in the spotlight, this conference will turn to look at how the sector can build resilience to change in terms of trees, but also in your career, to achieve our goals.
With a diverse programme covering a range of topics and viewpoints, the conference will start with presentations and culminate with a Q&A panel around careers.
Join us virtually on 18 March 2025 to explore ideas on what our sector needs to do now to prepare for the future.
