Join us for #MembersHour on 19 February with David White MICFor.

In response to many climatic factors and the increased impact of pests and diseases, it is advisable to look beyond the traditional palette of forestry species and spread the risk. During this #MembersHour, David will explore what the implications and considerations are around the selection of Emerging Forestry Species for afforestation and restocking.

Speaker

David White MICFor - Woodland & Climate Change Adaption Adviser, Forestry Commission

David joined the Forestry Commission in 1990 and has worked in West Sussex, Sherwood, Scottish Borders, Forest of Dean and Forest Services in East Midlands. In recent years he has been the Woodland and Climate Change Adaptation Adviser in the Policy and Advice team of the Forestry Commission.
